finally!

We're in our new house! Last Thursday we had settlement, which went very quickly, and then with the help of our family, moved in. Emma spent the day with Aunt Michelle and girls, and had a wonderful time. Emma ended up staying longer than I thought, so Aunt Shell fed her dinner, gave her a bath, and even dressed her in one of the girls pjs, which was such a big, unexpected help. We are so thankful for all of our family's help!

Bill and I have been busy getting the house together, and he used some of his vacation days this week so we can get things done. Comcast has had to come out FOUR times to get our phone, cable, and internet set up, and the fourth guy finally knew what he was doing, such a pain. But we are loving being at our house! Our neighbors are very friendly, there was a bottle of wine and a note welcoming us to the neighborhood the day we moved in! I always wanted a "welcome, I baked you a pie" kind of neighborhood. There are lots of kids Emma's age all within five houses of us too, which will be nice for her to play with.

Emma is getting used to living here, the first couple nights weren't the most pleasant or restful, but all is well again. She has been loving running around the house, getting into boxes, playing with all of our visitors, and exploring everything. Here's some pictures from the past few days, they are a bit random.

Emma kept putting on her "necklace" made of those linky links (?)...
...and then admiring herself in a yet-to-be-hung mirror. So vain! (haha I loved her doing it, and kept telling her SO pretty!)
