Emma and Maddie were really quiet when I was making dinner last night...that sometimes means trouble, but this time, it didn't.  They dressed up and decided to color together.  I love how much they play together now.  I overheard them saying they love each other.  I think I melted then.

 Maddie looks really focused, but ended up coloring on the table cloth by the time dinner was ready...that's my sad attempt at keeping the table clean.
(FYI, this is the "end of the day" hairstyles they are sporting.  Not to be confused with the "my Mommy just wrestled me to brush my hair" hairstyles.)

 Such a silly girl.

And a few observations Emma has made recently:
"Daddy, you have skin...Mommy, my whole family has SKIN!"

Singing to herself while coloring..."Fooooood is gooooood for youuuu."  "Hey Mommy, food is good for you!"
