week-in-review

I realized I had a bunch of random pictures on my phone that I took this past week, so here's a recap of what we've been up to.

Emma likes to carry around her baby dolls and imitate what I do with Maddie.
Here I realized she was imitating nursing her baby, made me laugh.

Maddie's had a stuffy nose the past few days, and I've discovered how much she HATES having her nose suctioned/wiped/cleaned. To the point of extreme screaming. Almost makes me want to just leave it and keep a crusty, running, drippy nose. Almost.
She also has her two bottom teeth coming in!
This is after a nap and I couldn't get enough of those cheeks.

Before church on Sunday, the girls were sitting with Bill during our team effort of getting everyone dressed and out the door. Bill said this would be a good picture, so I took it, and he was right.

Sunday was gorgeous, so we spent plenty of time outside, and Emma cracked me up going on her bike ride with Bill.
Then on our way to Grandmom and Grandpop's house, Emma passed out. No nap, Day 2, because she no longer has her pacifier! Saturday we took her to Toys R Us, and Emma very easily and proudly gave "the lady" her paci (it was in a ziploc) in return for her new stuffed monkey (that she picked out). We talked, and talked, and talked some more to get it in her head that she wouldn't have it anymore, she's a big girl, let's give it to the lady so new babies can have it, and she was okay with it. Until nap time. And bed time. Saturday night was rough, Sunday was a bit easier, but last night she went to sleep great! It was time. The thing was old and gross, and I refused to buy more, and she really just chewed on it.

And this was tonight.
After a long day, a little snuggle time is what we all needed
(Maddie crashed and missed out).
