Madeline

Maddie is now 12 weeks old (she'll be 3 months on Tuesday) and is becoming more of a little person. She is such a good baby, so content for most of the time and rarely fussy (as long as she is fed and not tired.) She is holding her head up real well now, and likes being on her belly a lot more than Emma did. She even has rolled over, from her belly to her back! Maddie is now discovering her hands and will just stare at them and admire them, and she's been trying to bat at toys. It's so fun watching her learn.
She still loves to sleep in the car, and as long as it is moving, she is happy. Her favorite sleep spot is still her swing, sometimes her bouncer, but we are trying to transition her to her own room, in her own bed (good luck to us.) Maddie has a good sleep run early in the night, from about 7:30/8:30-11:00/1am. After that she just wakes up. Not to eat (she only eats twice a night now). Not to cry for no reason. She'll go back to sleep as soon as we pick her up. So I have been up and down the hall more than I can count. I have been giving up at around 4/5 am and then just bring her in our room and hold her. (I've learned to sleep semi-upright with a Boppy around me...whatever it takes to sleep, right?) So we'll keep on working on that sleep thing...
