Our New Year's Eve was spent quietly at home, and I honestly loved it. Bill and I had a Wii tournament, watched some Ryan Seacrest and Dick Clark, and were in bed asleep by 12:10. This morning, since Emma doesn't know you're supposed to sleep late on New Year's Day, Bill and I went to an empty Toys R Us for a return, an empty mall, and an even emptier Friendly's lunch. I think this may be the best day to go shopping, it was so nice (and who knew any of those places are even open?)
No pictures of these festivities, but last night Emma entertained us by doing Ring-around-the-rosie in a tutu.
