Visit with Santa

I met Bill yesterday during his lunch and we took the girls to visit Santa. Emma has been asking to "sit on Santa's lap" since she first saw him at the mall a few weeks ago. All she says is she wants to "go see Santa." So we did. She was so excited...until we approached him. She wanted no part. Last year she was small enough and less aware, so we did the drop and run and have a picture of her screaming. This year, Emma freaked out and is a lot stronger and bigger...so Maddie was happy to just hang out on Santa (just couldn't get her to smile) and Emma hid on Bill's shoulder.

Maybe next year.
