This evening, Bill and I took Emma for her 18-month checkup. She freaked out when she was weighed and had her height measured, but was SO good for the doctor when he examined her. She just happily played with his stethescope (spelling?) She DID gain weight...I was worried since she hasn't been a great eater lately. She is now 22 lbs 12 oz and is 31 3/4 inches long, hooray! And now Emma doesn't have to go back until she is two years old, I'm so relieved...I think I hate doctor visits more than her.
