the boardwalk

Saturday morning my sister and brother-in-law came down the shore (they are staying until Tuesday) and we all went to the boardwalk after lunch. Emma got to go on rides for the first time, and the look on her face says it all: she was so unsure of what was going on. She rode the Dumbo ride with Daddy, and we both took her on the carousel (it's pretty much the only kiddie-ride that won't make me feel motion sick.) It was so warm and beautiful out, so we had to get some gelato and polish water ice. Emma is taking after her Mommy in one area, she started whining when she saw people eating ice cream to the point of tears, because she really wanted some. We gave her a few samples of everyone's, and she cried when it was all gone (I know how that feels!)

Emma and Daddy on Dumbo

it's hard to get a good picture when they're moving

Aunt Yvonne and Uncle Brian are good at getting Emma to smile for a picture
