Canceling our Verizon DSL internet service also surprisingly canceled my email. The woman I called at Verizon (by the way, if you are a telephone operator, you should not have a foreign accent so heavy it' s hard to understand you...she was very frustrating) said I would have to pay $9 a month to keep my email address....so I passed on that, and my email is now nicoleshipley13@gmail.com.
