Today Emma went for her 6 month check-up. She now weighs a whopping 13 lbs 3 ozs (the 7th percentile), which is only up a pound and 1 ounce from 4 months, and is 25 1/2 inches long (the 35th percentile). Her pediatrician wants to see her again in a month for a weight check, but wasn't too concerned. Emma did have a rough day after getting shots, but was in better spirits tonight. She just started sitting up by herself, which is a big deal, because hopefully she will be able to sit and play on the floor soon...independently! (Emma also is a drool machine lately, hence the soaked shirt.)
